The Rick Parets Story
Rick Parets arrived in Amsterdam in the early 70’s having worked as a production assistant in a commercial film production house and then as a junior copywriter in a New York advertising company.
A two year stint followed at the Melkweg as their first stage manager and then Rick joined Jango Edwards to form the “American Friends Roadshow”, a motley crew of clowns, comics and musicians, who toured Europe and America from the 70’s til the 90’s.
After that time, Rick began writing and directing for more business oriented enterprises, such as in house industrial films, trade shows and corporate parties.
